Last night at the LA Dodger game, there was a bit of confusion that didn’t seem to play out right. Bottom of the 2nd, Dodgers are up and the bases are loaded. Grounder hit to SS and batter is thrown out at 1st preceding a toss to the plate. The player was called out at home.

Problem is, there was no additional out recorded on the board, 2 men were out and off the field, and no run was reflected on the scoreboard.

Now that I am writing this, was the batter safe @ 1st? Did I just get caught up in the fact that the Dodgers missed out on a run because of a bad Blue?
