What name could they give to the Google Phone? iPhone is tired and old adding an “i” in front of everything Apple. Google needs a hip name to match to hype of the phone that is going to be released.

It is said that the GooglePhone will run all of your Google favorites on a system that meets and beats the iPhone. The GooglePhone, also dubbed (hopefully short term) the gPhone, is to feature a touch-screen, and trackball functionality with greater ease of use.

Now, the last question is, which service provider will support the “gPhone”? AT&T with its huge iPhone support? VZW with the LG Voyager? Or will Google start its own wireless network to compete on all levels with the iPhone and the Voyager? That may pose a problem if everybody is already contracted to another cellular provider.

All I know is that the “gPhone” should be pretty amazing with all of the ideas floating around.
